Trumpworld Fears ‘Nightmare Scenario’
June 20, 2020 at 7:36 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

Daily Beast: “Over the past two weeks, several of the president’s campaign lieutenants as well as individuals in his administration have reacted with mounting alarm as multiple polls have shown Trump dipping into the 30s against Joe Biden…”

“Early this month, one senior White House official told The Daily Beast that their “nightmare scenario” would be for the president to slip beneath 40 percent support in a sustained string of public and private surveys—thus signaling that a previously unshakable base was starting to grow a bit disillusioned.”

“In the time since that comment, multiple polls have shown Trump sliding into the 30s.”

The FiveThirtyEight polling average shows Biden leading Trump, 50.3% to 41.4%.

And of course, there is way too much of that going on...

But still....

I just think that the American Electorate has had just about enough of this asshole and the assholes around him.

I think this will be an election for the ages. It’s certainly been a presidency for the ages.

I have a feeling that more people will vote this November than we have seen in ....well...ever.

His die hard fans will all show up to vote, sure. But I just don’t think it will be close. People know incompetence when they see it, and he can stamp his feet on Twitter all he cares to, and complain he never gets any fair coverage, but if he wasn’t such a monumental fuck-up, he would get more positive stories written about him.

The American people have had enough of this clown show, and it will be over in early January.

On the other hand, it would be interesting to see him get reelected, but have the Democrats take a 60 seat majority in the Senate and add more seats in the House.

He would be Impeached again by February 1st and be gone by the 2nd week. Watching him get bodily removed from the grounds would be entertaining as hell!

Might even get to see that anyway, if he refuses to leave. I hope so. I want to see him lose in a landslide so big it would bury the east coast.

To steal enough votes to re-elect Trump would preclude getting near that threshold anyway.

Best to just blow him out of the White House with an overwhelming defeat.
