They are really pushing ahead with this blatant – in your face fascism. I think it is a sign of desperation as they know that November success is a reach too far at this point and they are trying to shore up their base in every way possible, while also trying to protect their fascist criminal arses in a post Trump Administration world. Two incidents this week in particular have struck me as ridiculously transparent in their fascistic strategy.

Firstly, they have bounced in a far right bugaloo into the Voice of America, dumped all current heads of the various nationalised stations and dismantled all independent boards and replacing them far right anti-trans and anti-gay activists. So, a far right mentoree of Steve Fascist Bannon has been given control of the airwaves, and hundreds of millions in budget to pump out Trump propaganda, not just in America but all over the world. What could possibly go wrong? Oh wait…as Goebbels said “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth” and now they have a vehicle to do just that, funded by courtesy of the American tax payer. (If you have not seen it and if you get the chance RMS covered this in detail last night.)

Then in a Friday night news dump Barr announced that Berman is stepping down as District Attorney for SDNY. Berman comes straight back with a statement refuting that: “I have not resigned, and have no intention of resigning, my position, to which I was appointed by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York I will step down when a presidentially appointed nominee is confirmed by the Senate. Until then, our investigations will move forward without delay or interruption. I cherish every day that I work with the men and women of this Office to pursue justice without fear or favor — and intend to ensure that this Office’s important cases continue unimpeded.”

Barr has tried to bump Berman out of his job because he KNOWS that after Trump gets dumped hard in November SDNY will be coming after them for their foulness and corruption. Barr is actively undermining the fundamentals of the American Justice system as they try to intimidate Berman into quitting his job, so they can to replace him with a stooge of the Trump administration for 6 months – right up to election day - to ensure that all current evidence of high crimes and misdemeanours, and current investigations pertaining to the Trump Crime Family, is dismissed and destroyed, and I am very sure Berman knows where many of the skeletons are buried. As Adolf himself once said “Obstacles do not exist to be surrendered to, but only to be broken” and at this point Trump and his fascist team are not only trying to break constitutional norms, they are in your face smashing them. All so very Nazi.

And the cherry on this rolling far-right coup attempt is Trumps very own Nuremberg Rally in Tulsa tonight, with fascist MAGA thickets playing the role of the brown shirts. Partying like its 1934. As an aside – do you think even Hitler would have held a huge indoor rally at the height of a Pandemic? Heh.

Hold on everyone. Their increasing desperation is very real. The more they panic, the bumpier it is going to get.
