The stage just changes as we progress in technology and have certain histories behind us. But that VM Smith scene where he laughs for the first time when the big monkey at the zoo takes something from the medium monkey and instead of retaliating he knocks the crap out of the little monkey? Man, thats as human as it gets.

He would have been spot on and humorous as hell and with the media the way it is, he would have
touched donnies' hot buttons and gotten on the plane more than one time.
I can see him eating steak with ketchup on it and tripping on acid while asking whatever questions came to mind.
the "interviewee" would have answered in the same vein..

(4,465 posts)Spot on - especially P.K. Dick. I'd love to have heard Hunter Thompson's take, and Ellison would have had some apocalyptic but hilarious end-times scenario about our current disease-state, largely inflamed by Trump.
