I'm a proud atheist (and an unapologetic Marxist), but I wouldn't say it "never" happens. The treatment of some religious groups by the Soviet state apparatus and their satellites very much involved oppression over who "doesn't believe in God the most," and included, yes, fighting and killing, especially during the civil war and again during the Second World War. So, yes, get the point, but history's a bit more complicated than all that.

...supposed Coptic Christian's cheap-ass and laughable film insulting Mohamed. Hence religion vs. religion over which religion is more in tune with the word(s) of god. Gervais states that we've never seen one atheist group killing another atheist group over which group didn't believed in god the most. You've pointed to the soviet state apparatus, which was atheist and routinely persecuted religions than ran contrary to the soviet ideology as an example. How is this atheist killing atheist over who doesn't believe in god the most? If anything, this was atheist regime persecuting religious believers.

And how does this tie in to the civil war? I see the tenuous connection to the second world war, but atheist killing atheist over who doesn't believe in god the most?

Sorry, don't see it.

It was about the possible damage/conflict between a person listening to Stalin's orders or listening to the Pope, Rabi, Bishop or whatever person in religious authority.

Irrationality is irrationality. To peg it solely to one point of genesis is, in itself, irrational.

Which is why I disdain "gotcha" Atheism.
