They aren't "dog whistling" or pretending anymore.

They are full on fascists and want you to know it.

The fact that it has not been removed completely and is now getting press will only widen its dissemination.

The white supremacist movement is emboldened and I would not doubt that actions will begin to crop up.

Be vigilant.

I guess it's like that Pepe the Frog thing, I didn't recognize that either.

However, the Nazi faction will.

attack those who do not support him.

From those idiotic hats, to the press is the enemy, to wearing a mask is an act against him, to various uses of NAZI imagining, other dog whistles and flat out saying it.

Trump takes pleasure from it. He wants his followers to act. It makes him feel powerful.

The gay community took a symbol of oppression, and turned it into a symbol of liberation.

Although in this case, the classification system had a purpose beyond the merely bureaucratic. The Nazis wanted each classification of prisoner to be clearly marked, in order to maintain them in a kind of prison hierarchy.

The political prisoners, and the common criminals (thieves, rapists, etc) were at the top of the heap, and the Nazis put them in positions of trust, through which they could earn privileges. Their job was to keep the other classifications of prisoners, Jews, gays, etc. in a state of constant terror. The red triangle prisoners constantly beat the others, hounded them to work harder, to spy on one another, etc.

And, unlike the religious prisoners, gays, those with developmental disabilities, and so on, who could only expect to be worked to death or murdered, the politicals and common criminals could work toward release from the camps. Their success in terrorizing the others was part of that incentive plan.

Horrible, all of it.
