The things Bullock has going for are:

He's from Montana

Was AG for his predecessor

Is a popular two term governor

Has been a successful public servant for over a decade

Daines has none of that. His popularity comes from out of state support via the tea party and Gianforte connections.

I hope we end up with Bullock in the Senate, it will mean we'd have two great Democratic Senators and maybe people will stop complaining that we have too many Senators.
