My husband pitched in on the police reforms. "Why aren't they doing something for the cops!"

I took a sip from my coffee and waited for what he was going to say next, because it's a beautiful day in Florida and it just seemed like waste to start divorce papers.

"Why aren't they doing something for the cops! With all the changes they're bringing up in Congress, why aren't they including a bill that will clear the AK-47s from the streets!"

Did I forget to mention, what a brilliant man, my husband.

DC v Heller, the 2nd Amendment, etc.

"AK-47s" aren't going to be "cleared from the streets" in the foreseeable future. The vast arsenals of semi-automatic weapons in the hands of random citizens are only increasing during this unrest.

I drove past a gun store Saturday morning. There was a line out the door.
