Another of their adds showed black people in a ghetto surrounding. Republicans don't care about that. Scene should have been closed factories and poor whites.

They need to produce ads that affect his base.

Notice the white people in all the scenes. These ads are designed to persuade white suburban voters away from Trump.

The MAGATs are a lost cause.

These are aimed at moderate Republicans who claim not to like him but stick with him because of judges, tax cuts, etc., who insist they're not bigots and consistenly try to compartmentalize their support as if they aren't complicit in the worst aspects of him and his presidency.

These are also the people who LOVE talking about how much they LOVE Martin Luther King.

They need to be shamed and only other Republicans can do it.

If we had gotten a sliver of the independents in 2016, Hillary Clinton would have become our President. These guys at Lincoln Project certainly know that and they're good at aiming their message. That's why these spot ads are so effective. At least I believe they are effective.

The Democratic Party needs to pay more attention to what Lincoln Project is doing and jot down a few notes.

Under ANY republicans, this nation is always in danger of this same thing happening to our country again. The same people on the Lincoln Project protected george bush/dick cheney/donald rumsfeld, and attacked Obama 24/7/365 during his presidency.

I'm forever grateful they will help us get rid of trump, but I also know there will be no quarter once they have a new republican to support.

I so hope the democratic party learns from them during this campaign.

White suburban Republicans don't want to be associated with George Wallace. Even in 1968, they rejected Wallace.

By drawing a direct line between Wallace and Trump, these ads tarnish Trump.

They've gotten away with separating themselves from them until now as if they're not in that same bucket. But as I tell people who claim they support Trump for his policies but aren't racist themselves ...

"You may not personally be racist, but you're choosing the side the racists are on and from here on the other side, it's impossible to tell you apart."

What if the Kennedy brothers had been able to live their full lives of service to the United States. We lost 3 great men in a very short time: John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. My heart still hurts when I think about this.

an even better president than his brother. (I have nothing specific to base it on, other than the "age of aquarius" in which he was running.) And the racists were scared of how much MLK Jr could have accomplished, even becoming president.

Too bad we cannot find an alternate universe in which they were not assassinated.

Dr King, and the Kennedy brothers could capture the peoples interest, inspire their spirits and intellects and inspire a vision of a democracy that served everyone equally and better than the status quo.

They're using time for an issue that is already front and center national news. They need to reach Trumpers - MAGAts. Most of them would see this and think it fake news or insulting to their leader. Have they changed any minds here?

They need to question Trump's competence on the pandemic, his appointments, policies. This election is about character, personality, suitability for office. And by the way, do you want 4 more years of this confusion?

This ad, made by REPUBLICANS, uses the words of RK and MLK

This is why we do politics folks, to change people's hearts, minds, and opinions.

There is nothing better, nor more effective or useful than these spots. The best thing about them for me, is they get under Trump's thin skin.

If you think they are not good enough, try and come up with something better

But it is kind of embarrassing, or should be, to whomever Democrats hires as their ad runners. Republicans have years, decades of hate radio, even Fox News, experience on how to shape messages and create memorable slogans. And they use that experience in these ads One thing R's know how to do is to go for the jugular. And not afraid of the liberal PC police or Fox News, or anyone in between.

Next time, (if Biden wins) they will turn their attention back on us. For now, the enemy of my enemy......

I'll wait....

The Lincoln project is bullshit...run by a group of enablers who put this prick, his ilk and the tea party in charge because they hated the idea of an erudite and charismatic Black man becoming President of the United States.

I'd have slightly more belief if they'd publicly stand up and be counted rather than hiding behind a PAC...
