A lot of his supporters, most, are slow on the uptake. They are probably asking him not to have tests in school. That way people won't have numbers and grades to show how fucking stupid they really are. So, he had an "AHA" moment and decided no tests means no one will know just how stupid someone who supports him really is. Surely, no tests will hide other inconvenient stats and numbers as well. Why not do that with Covid-19 and stick our heads in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist.
I live in a blood red area of a mostly red state. I know how these stupid fuckers think. The above hypothetical thought process is probably pretty accurate. It is probably dead on.
I have heard this conversation in my hometown on NUMEROUS occasions.
Person 1: "I haven't read a book since high school."
Person 2: "I haven't read a book since grade school."
Person 3: "I never learned to read at all."
Guess which one is the "winner" there. It's Person 3. Every single time, they automatically look up to and admire Person 3 the most. It is a source of huge pride for them.
