Stephanie Ruhle calls our her MSNBC producer for saying Trump "stated inaccurately some facts"

Stephanie Ruhle
@SRuhle
While I rarely make the mistake of challenging my brilliant executive producer @laurenpeikoff ....I’m making an exception.@realDonaldTrump did NOT state some innacurate facts.
There is no such thing as an inaccurate fact.
Facts are true statements, backed by evidence
He lied.

Lauren Peikoff
@laurenpeikoff

.@MSNBC just broke away from the president's newser. @mitchellreports: President Trump started talking about police reform and an executive order but he's now launched into what would be a campaign rally speech, stating inaccurately some facts about the pandemic.

Simple, declarative sentence so beloved of editors everywhere: "He lies!" Far more concise, no weasel words like "inaccurate facts" and gets the message clearly to the audience.

Trump took advantage of that from Day One and forced the media to either change its stance or maintain it as it was continually being flouted. Took them 3.5 years, but they finally are starting to understand that Trump and the GOP consider this deference a weakness to exploit. Hopefully, they won't be similarly hamstrung by deference to the incumbent as a candidate.

You got it - they found a "weak spot" and have continually driven through it.
ENOUGH of this "polite dance of words" - call it what it is!
ENOUGH of this "both sides do it" - tell it like it is!
BE PROFESSIONALS - DO YOUR JOB! TELL THE TRUTH, EVEN IF THEY DON'T!!!!!!

Dear Media and especially MSNBC,

I don't care what Trump says. Ever.

You need to cover what he does, not what he says. You've done enough damage treating him as a celebrity, then a viable candidate, and then like an actual President. Stop it. Just stop.

I understand that some people need to report on what he says. They have my sincere sympathy. But I have no desire to try and keep up with his lies, hate mongering, delusions and tweets.

Take away his bully pulput and treat him with all the respect he has earned.

In the meantime, I'll go back to doing anything other than paying attention to you. Life is short and you are a waste of time.

This is an outlier.

Until we stop watching them and giving them $$$$$$ from ad revenue they will not change.

Boycott the advertisers and perhaps they will start to feel it.

Support REAL news outlets such as The Daily Beast, TruthOut, The Nation, Democratic UnderGround, and The Real News Network instead.
