Texas polling. Voter suppression to "landslide"?

In Texas the slim chance of a Biden (Democrat) victory would be the first since Carter in 76.

That is interesting. Is it because Carter is an Evangelical? Nixon's impeachment? Ford goofiness? Likely we are a very different nation today and the comparison to 76 is pointless. Still...

It's always important to have to compete in every state. But we know GOP operatives are corrupt with a purpose - suppressing the vote is the only route to victory. They even think a "landslide" possible. And the pandemic gives them a lot of cover.

2. I hope people in every state

are contacting their dem offices and those of indivisible to find out what you can do to combat the obvious voter suppression that they will try in every repub state. There needs to be a full out affront to stop these evil bastards.

3. Mind games are at play too.

A lot of what Twitter does is play mind games. Everything he can do to bulldoze will be done. And the remaining members of the GOP are of the same caliber of Ne'erdo-wells.

I count on the educated women to save the day and fight back. But what a waste for a supposed superpower.

4. I agree about what a waste and have a hard time

understanding how you got here. I live in Canada and I do not know of any other western democracy that tries to stop their citizens from voting, quite the opposite in fact. You are not living in a democracy, you are living in a country trying to fight for democracy and the repubs have been stalling the "freedom", instead supporting the freedumb. It is time for citizens to wake up and rise up and take the country back.

5. I fear our complacency has been harnessed by the right wing talk machine.

Once we were spun about the ACA and death panels, actual reason went out the window. It seems bigotry won in 2016 and hate is more important than health or safety. The NRA has also ripped our Constitution to virtual shreds.

I am embarrassed for us. I actually experienced the Canada health system decades ago and thought it so much better than ours. Keeping our billionaires growing seems like the only achievement of the regime.

P.s. started watching Murdoch Mysteries last night and fully appreciated the canadian POV of murder.
