was a take off on shows like "The Jersey Shore" and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" and other shows like that.

It's just kind of a stereotype of a certain kind of "Jersey" person (not all, I know a lot of very nice, normal people from New Jersey). But she could easily be from certain parts of Long Island, Queens, Staten Island, Philly or any number of other places. She could even be from Boston, where I live now, but most Bostonians aren't like that either. I hope you aren't offended.
