A Little Follow Up On That NASCAR Tool

Ray Ciccerelli, his name is. He's racing tonight.
He now says he doesn't support the flag or respect what it stands for, but it was about freedom (or is that freedumb) of expression.
Apparently, his defense of freedom of expression is absolute. Well, at least for 36 hours. Then, it's not that important after all.
My guess: nearly every racing association in the country that pays more than $50 for winning told him "Don't bring that here, Ray Ray!"
So, rather than slinking into the minor, minor, minor leagues, he tried to cover his tracks.

NASCAR's rules is NASCAR's rules. If you don't like it, go race somewhere else. Now, if you want to plaster your personal vehicle with the flag of traitors and drive around town, knock yourself out bud.

I suspect the real reason the Good Ol' Boy, nobody driver with an abysmal NASCAR record, is hanging up his spurs because he's way over the hill and can't land any sponsorship. I'm guessing he'll finished up his career working in the wrecking yard, or something.

That means he took the green flag then went to the pits. There is honor in racing hard to finish 30th. But putting it in the trailer to get starting money is not a good look.

In all of his listed races over 8 years he has finished in the top 10 exactly once. There’s a word for that:

“Loser”.

There are many interesting "turns of phrase" around racin` My favorite was "The Professor" , Eddie Flemke, after test lapping a car for a friend: " You should cut it up, or sell it to your enemies!" ( Maybe RayRay bought it, and still does'nt know.....)
