He can’t even tell you which foot was the problem and somehow — miraculously — he doesn’t have the issue today. Because if he did, he’d tell everyone he still suffers with the bone spurs. Liar to the core. If anyone has ever had bone spurs, they’ll tell you they generally get worse. They do not just miraculously disappear. He should be hobbling or crawling on all fours by now — if he really had spurs in his feet.

That said, I’m one of those “wimps” who didn’t go to Vietnam. I’d been working sense I was 12-years-old when I got called. I knew who was poor and who was working poor, and who was middle class.

At the time, and still today, I thought—why the fuck would I go to some other country to kill poor and working class people like myself? Since WWII, there hasn’t been one reason to go to war except to make rich arms manufacturers and in-pocket politicians richer.

I’m prouder every year of the choice I made in 1966. I’m not a wimp or a coward, imo,; I’m a working man, blue collar, shower after work man. It’s trendy on DU to put down draft dodgers these days because of the Orange Menace. I get that.

Nevertheless, I’m an unapologetic draft-dodger who would do it again in a heartbeat.
War Is A Fucking Racket. Peace.

After his "dull as dishwater" speech (per MSNBC) the orange MAGAt was saluted by 1,100 brand spankin' new 2nd Lieutenants, and got to play military officer by saluting them back. One of the responding ex-military who watched the speech commented that Chump "offered nothing but boring platitudes and left them with nothing to carry forth into their military careers". MSNBC was pretty brutal in their assessment.

In essence, this was Chump's mini military parade to tide him over until the day he hopes to have his grand extravaganza down Pennsylvania Avenue.

He couldn't have Pencie outshining him by giving the Air Force Academy graduation speech, now, could he? No, Chump had to call all the cadets back to West Point so that they could listen to him pat himself on the back again. What a frightful waste of time, effort and $$$.
