Stacey Abrahms on how voter suppression hit her in 2020
I saw her on an MSNBC show this week. She said that she planned on voting through the mail this past election in GA. She filled out her ballot and then was shocked to discover that the provided return envelope was glued shut! She tried to steam it open to no avail.
Knowing that any noticeable tampering with the envelope would invalidate her ballot, she ended up going to her precinct to vote, waiting in the COVID-susceptible lines with her fellow voters.
Unbelieveable.
