(46,215 posts)Asking multitudes of people to come to a rally during a pandemic where the virus is highly contagious, without masks, crowded together for hours makes this event subject to the tort of strict liability. By strict liability, it is so inherently dangerous that liability cannot be shifted to the attendees who are asked to assume the risk of harm. Some risks are so probable, so harmful, that that can't be transferred.
