A small handful of 1000 people out there have a survival kit gathering dust somewhere in the attic. Launched back in 2016, a pre-packed bag with hand-selected survival items was said to help you survive the collapse of civilization. I’m talking the limited edition “Donald Trump Bug-Out Bag” by Cards Against Humanity. It was released back in the days when Trump becoming President was still just a scenario. They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

But if the critics say that the end of the world was a bluff and the US is doing kinda okay, remember that you don’t get second chances twice. So let’s take a look at this hilarious relic which, as we’re getting closer to presidential elections, has become more relevant than ever.

The mischievous board game Cards Against Humanity, which describes itself as “a party game for horrible people,” released its Trump-themed expansion pack featuring the survival kit back in 2016. The Donald Trump Bug-Out Bag, which retailed $25, quickly sold out.

For those who didn’t manage to get their hands on one of 1000 units, CAH had a message: “When Donald Trump is elected President, you will perish in the wasteland. Sorry.”

But it turns out, this wasn’t a simple publicity stunt. CAH co-founder Max Temkin told Mashable: “We’re actually losing money on this, we’re just doing it because we think it’s important to prepare the public for the collapse of the Republic after Trump seizes power.”
