They do not want to live in a democracy. They do not believe in fair elections. They don't believe in negotiating or compromise. They don't want to be led by a president, they want to be led by a dictator. The want to force all their beliefs upon all of us, including their religious beliefs. They only care about the constitution when it suits their needs. When it doesn't they abuse it. The 2nd amendment is one example.
Everything they want is already in place in some countries around the world. They should move there, they would be much happier. What they are looking for here in America will not be excepted.
Trump voters should be told, You are free to leave America, go live some place where you will be happy.

Proud Liberal Dem
(24,436 posts)They believe that they are entitled to lord over this country in perpetuity and do what they want and they don't like the idea that they have to share the country with a wide and diverse group of people whose ideas and beliefs conflict with their own.

(52,309 posts)they don't want to go where there aren't any black people
they want to have black people around to beat up on and take advantage of so they can feel superior.
they think their white skin entitles them to "win" at everything.
given that, why on earth would they leave their country voluntarily?
well, other than by secession, a concept they seem to adore....

Many of them have a "right-wing authoritarian" personality. (Which I personally think can be learned or unlearned, but it's often described like it's an innate personality trait.)
Here's a test for it:
https://openpsychometrics.org/tests/RWAS/
I scored a zero when I took it a couple years ago (or whatever indicates anti-RWA the most).
The strongest indicator for a Trump supporter during the 2016 GOP primaries was a RWA personality. More thzn education, income, or anything else.
There's a lot of overlap with white evangelical Christians, people who often want to force their views on others (but not always).

Kentucky, West Virginia, Mississippi, much of the South, have growing poverty rates amongst whites. They are too ignorant to even research that. Cuts in taxes means cuts to education . For these states rank at the bottom for spending on Education, Health Care, as well as having the higher high school drop out rates, lower quality of life as well.

(15,290 posts)Some of them get a kick out of how he enrages liberals. Some of them don't like to pay taxes. Some of them don't like government regulations. Some of them want conservative judges. Some of them want to live in a christian theocracy. Then you have the xenophobic, homophobic and racists, but I think they are the minority.

If we can't live together, then perhaps we should
live separately.
As with anything else, the devil is in the details.
