It was easiest to get through to their home offices here on the Central Coast, as I suspected it would be.
In each case I spoke to a human staffer and expressed my concern about what I noticed earlier this week and what has since been confirmed by various news sources -- that citizens were exercizing their 1st Amendment rights peacefully if noisily, when they were set upon by often-unidentified troops.
I am fortunate in that I moved from an area where I had been known as an activist for years, so I feel very comfortable calling Congressman Salud Carbajal's office from time to time -- though I do identify myself as a former constituent.
I have never met Congresswoman Julia Brownley, because I pretty much retired when I moved here -- however I've donated and periodically call or write, so I'm on the email list.
I had no luck with my Senators, as the voicemail boxes in both California and DC are full.
If/when I email all of them I will ask what they are doing about this, and will expect an answer.
How about the rest of you?

Thanks, Hekate.
