We want to make this year President Trumps BEST BIRTHDAY EVER, read Trumps campaign website, which provided a form for people to fill out and upload clips. The campaign promised to show Trump the first 500 responses TONIGHT.
Actor Rob Delaney tweeted a video of himself telling Trump, whom he described as a stupid bigot, that he should resign.
Its going to be really miserable for you until November, Delaney said. He called out Trumps fumbled handling of the coronavirus pandemic and his violent rhetoric toward anti-racism protesters.
Delaney also revealed why he hates Vice President Mike Pence and the presidents daughter and adviser, Ivanka Trump, more than he hates Trump himself.
Because youre just fucking garbage, but theyre like, yay garbage, he said. Anyway, more and more people are growing to hate you every day, which is just fantastic, so you should fucking quit.

My project (The Freedom Toast), which I do with some friends in Atlanta used to do satirical videos during the Cheney Bush days. Our "Home On The Range-Bush Version" was sort of a minor hit back then. I sort of put it on ice when Obama got in. I was thinking of starting up again when Trump showed up at 1600, but by then my video guy was having some serious personal issues, and had to bow out after doing only two: "I'm running the USA ha ha" and "In D.C. (to the tune of On Broadway)." I had all sorts of ideas for new pieces, but no one to do the videos. I saw some great ones by "The Parody Project" and emailed them. They were doing great work already, and their "Confounds The Science" to the tune of Sounds of Silence has something like half a million hits. So they gave me a polite "thanks but no thanks" on any collaborations.
Their main guy already has all sorts of awards for his studio work as a professional videographer, and he's an accomplished musician as well. Still I sent him lyrics ideas I had from time to time to try to get him interested in a joint venture. When he got my lyrics to "Mar-a-Lagoville," he said he'd like to try it, and I said go ahead. He is far to my left, and tinkered with the chorus a couple of times, but otherwise left my lyrics intact. That was our first collaboration. Since then, we have done a dozen or so together. So, I got TFT (The Freedom Toast) back together and got some tracks recorded in Atlanta.
Since doing the "Talking TSA Blues" and "Canyonlands (an instrumental)," I haven't been able to run over there to play on any of the tracks personally, but I did the oversight of them from here in Germany. You can do stuff like that these days. Some others, the Parody Project took my lyrics and did the sound track and video (e.g. this one, Mar-a-Lagoville, and Act Naturally). If you go to youtube and type in the Parody Project, he must have over 50 videos by now. Our collaborations must number a dozen or so by now. TFT has some great musicians plus some really gifted vocal mimics. So Parody Project sometimes synchronizes our music to old videos of songs that were hits 50 years ago. Our current woman singer can do Petula Clark ("Dumb Down" ) or Tammy Wynette ("Stand With Your Man/Can't Stand That Man" ) so well, some people thought we had somehow gotten them to do the song, and "Strangers on the Right" sounded so much like Sinatra that some people figured we must have cloned him from some leftover DNA. The guy who did George Benson on "In D.C." might as well have BEEN George Benson singing "On Broadway."
After Mar-a-Lagoville got some decent hits, PP and TFT did a few other collaborations, although my day job (PP is retired folks) restricts my available time. If you go to Youtube, any of our collaborations will say Parody Project With The Freedom Toast. If anyone has trouble finding them, I can post some links.
Interesting note--sometime between 2005 and 2010, the Guardian in England somehow heard of The Freedom Toast and asked me to do a song about one of their politicians. Only trouble was, I had never heard of the guy! So, I did some research, wrote the lyrics in an hour, got the Guardian's blessing, took a guitar track I had laid down when I had last been in Atlanta, and gave the rest of TFT guidelines what I wanted done with it. It became the old English Sea Shanty, "Blow The Man Down." They sent the finished track to me here in Düsseldorf, and I recorded several vocal tracks in a studio here on a day when I was so sick, the only thing I should have been recording was my record for highest fever and worst sore throat ever. But the sound was one of a bunch of drunken English sailors, and the Guardian loved it. The vocal tracks were sent back to Atlanta for mixing, and then sent over to the Guardian in England. They did their own video to our sound track, and it was on their site for nearly ten years! It was seen by every MP serving at the time, and they have no earthly idea who I am....only that a "Yank" did the music to it. They took it down when the guy left parliament.

(3,707 posts)Happy Birthday to the sick soul last seen as Mussolini. Who haven been given the new-born circumstances of growing up in post WW2 USA and in a family of some means, managed again to botch-up another incarnation; another chance at nice-ness.
That still sick soul, now known as Donald J. Trump, will get another chance to redirect his trajectory of humanity, to atone for the ego-ic sin of "me-ness".
May he have the grace to be born again of woman as woman or Mexican or black or poor or foreign or as alternate-appearances.
Perhaps he will learn to pray, "Dear God(dess), why was I born as a poor, black, Mexican, lesbian foreigner in this shit-hole country of Trumpistan"
