He was trying to flog some idiotic conspiracy theory that said there was no virus in Beijing, only in Europe and the US.

What's his motivation in trying to piss off China and make it seem like they deliberately launched a germ warfare attack on us and other countries? Trump loves wars, is that what he's pushing for? Maybe be thinks the world leaders will believe his lies and break away from their trade deals with China, which might flow over to increased US exports.
