Is The Peace Protest Tent Still Positioned In Front Of The WH That Kept Vigil For Years?.....

Everytime I was in D.C. I would visit the Peace Protest Tent in front of the WH. I used to talk to a gentleman that kept vigil there and after he died - a woman. Given all the action by the WH and Lafeyette Park - I was wondering if that vigil was still being carried on or if it was finally closed down by Trump's Administration?

Does anyone know?

To me - that was an important destination when one went to the Nation's Capitol City. It is just as important as the WH, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol Building. I used to recommend to anyone that I knew would visit D.C. - that they had to stop by this tent; talk to the person(s) manning the tent; learn about their mission and make a donation to support continued visibility of such a Peace Monument.

I always thought that someone should make a movie about the gentleman who first set up the vigil and his plight.

the man had died and a woman lived there (I think they were partners) and I think she died a few years ago. I don't know what happened to the tent.
