Frank Cavalluzzi, 54, of Queens, faces multiple counts of reckless endangerment, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, the New York Police Department said.
Video footage of the June 2 incident showed the man speeding toward a small group of protesters on an expressway overpass in Queens. He can be seen leaping from his SUV with a device affixed to his arm that has machete-like blades extending from it.
He can be seen repeatedly accusing the group of throwing something at his car while rushing toward them.
A second video shows Cavalluzzi allegedly drive onto the overpass' sidewalk and speed after them. The protesters can be heard screaming and sprinting away from the vehicle.

Frank Cavalluzzi, 54, was slapped with six counts of reckless endangerment in the first degree, seven counts of menacing with a weapon in the second degree and seven counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree for Tuesdays incident in Whitestone, police said.
He was arrested at 9:05 a.m. Thursday after turning himself in to the 109th Precinct in Flushing with his lawyer, police said.
Cavalluzzi, whom police sources called a known troublemaker in the area, was filmed brandishing knives affixed to his hand and threatening Black Lives Matter demonstrators on Tuesday before getting into his car, driving onto the sidewalk and attempting to mow them down, sending them running for their lives.

..among other offenses. (Had he caught up with any of the group, I've no doubt that he would have harmed them.)
The Daily News has a bit more him. Neighbors say he had threatened at least one person from the block with a machete in the past.

If nothing else, we're thinning their herd. Something tells me right-wing talk radio is whacking the hornet's nest. Many incidents like this have been seen the last several days.
Delighted no one was seriously hurt.......
