CONFIRMED: US defense official tells me hundreds of active duty 82nd Airborne troops being sent home from DC area, a day after Defense Secretary Mark Esper reversed an earlier decision yesterday to send 82nd back to Ft Bragg after tense meeting with President Trump.

trump needed to look like he overpowered Esper's decision, to appear strong. Esper agreed to look like a bitch and troops go home a day later.
