The sleeping giant has once again been woken.

The American people. I have said it before, the American people are a slumbering people until things go too far. I always understood Trump would never be allowed to destroy our democracy, our constitution. Yes, he can damage it, but the American people are not going to allow him end our democracy. No way in hell.

Look at what happened to the guy who drove the gas truck into the crowd, the guy with the crossbow, the guy who tried to set off the flash bomb ... in each case, they were overwhelmed by the crowd, beaten the crap out of and handed to the police. The boogie babies have no idea of what they are up against

I prefer prevention over after-the-fact slow reaction.

Elections have consequences, and when certain voters decide to stay at home then we get dangerous clowns like Trump.

I’m hopeful after seeing people protesting, but that doesn’t change the fact that we have to vote. Even if you’re far left and not excited about Biden, vote! It’s much easier to swing further to the left left from the center than from the far right.

but he's fencing up the compound and is Commander-in-Chief. The plan to physically evict this dope when he loses? Congress controls no troops. So it rests on the Courts. Or the states. We have these pockets of physical power to backup the rule of law.

Because they have no intention of leaving or they wouldn't be doing the things they do. I suspect many similar conversations are ongoing in high political circles.

are ongoing in high political circles?

You can bank on that.

Not only in the US, but outside of the US as well. The world is very concerned about what is going in the US. Maybe more so than some Americans.

I can easily imagine leaders of various nations consulting with each other in very private conferences about how to deal with the problems that Trump's America is causing in the world.

And I am certain that concerned people in America are doing the same -- on both sides of the great divide in this country. If we, the ordinary folk, are talking among ourselves, you can be sure that people at higher levels are doing the same.

Question is, "What will be the outcome?"

Trump’s base is motivated. They will vote. But it seems to be shrinking in size. His MAGA day or whatever he called it didn’t attract anyone.

Except I have no expectation of a good election outcome.
I keep watching the polls and if Joe is only ahead by 8 points
vlad can overcome that margin. I fear the only way we will get rid
of vlad's bitch is a second amendment solution.

And he said he feared that by mf45 using the head of the DEA to start taking over policing the protesters With drug agents thing will get worst and if Christopher Wray is fired we are in a whole lot of more trouble. Anyone can be labeled as Antifa that disagrees with mf45 even you or me!

I am frankly More scared now after hearing that Today.

to be informed and educated. To learn, survive and take action to preserve democracy and vote.

I'm beyond sick of dismissals why reputable media outlets can't be developed or expanded.

We've been barraged for 30 years with widespread, well funded infotainment garbage and anti democratic, extremist poison passed off as the right to 'freedom' and 'liberty.'

It's pony up time, now; the wolf isn't at the door, he's bounding up the inside steps.

If the fool gets re-elected, retribution will replace “transparency” as the most overly uttered and, for the most part meaningless word in our vocabulary.
