Just saw a video about two men living in an abandoned village in Newfoundland.

And something occurred to me. How do they get fuel for their boats? No one lives there but them.

I imagine in a more populated fishing village they would have fuel delivered from some sort of fuel tanker once in a while. If so how do they store it?

Anyone here who lives/lived in a fishing cillage know about this?

when they visit the mainland, or the nearest port, they stock up on what they need until their next visit.

Planning, you should try it some time.

I'd watch it.

As for fuel, perhaps their boats can go on the water to someplace that has fuel?

very simple life right here in rural Florida, and it'd be much warmer. Just take one of the sand tracks leading back into the forests and swamps to check it out. Maybe find a long-abandoned mobile home and move on to another if anyone ever notices.

We always had a fuel tank. They might have a similar arrrangment either filled by land or water delivery.
