What if Rightwingers assassinated a group of protesters by bringing live weapons and using them? What happens then?
I am NOT making any statements of fact or direction. I just fear that we are on the brink and maybe past it. I want to ask the question and see what others think.
I honestly DON'T KNOW. And I fear our countries integrity is at stake. How will we have November 3rd elections if the nation is in chaos?

(38,187 posts)Trump and many in LE will pat them on the back. They are letting them bring weapons in areas where they do not allow open carry already. The one I saw was not arrested for it and or even talked to roughly, much less beaten, sprayed or anything else. He was allowed to just do it.
With the way things are going, I don't think anything would happen. They would let it happen and only begrudgingly arrest any of them IF enough people made a big deal about it. Otherwise, zilch.
It's open season anyone left of Hitler right now.

(7,968 posts)meaning that the frustration of the people would be beyond containment. What does that mean? Remember most of the people are against the right-wing idiots. We have the people. What do they do? Ultimately, that is the critical question.
The government only works if the people agree to let it work. The people are getting close to the point of withdrawing that agreement.
Yes, it is a classical question. It perhaps has an answer in history. I am not an historian.

(54,770 posts)In Atlanta, a majority of protesters are walking around filming with their phones, press is everywhere, and there are a lot of surveillance cameras.
Plus, in Atlanta but not outside white wingers dont get a lot of support, nowadays. Its different on back roads, but thats another discussion.
Well have elections. Im voting on day one by mail, in case I get hit by a bus, or something.
