2. I wonder if the way COPs are portrayed in movies and TV plays a

part in the police culture in this country. Watch a Blue Bloods or the Chicago PD the COPS are always
violating people's rights. I saw one recently where the COP takes a knife and starts to cut a guys ear off to make him talk or they put a gun to someones head. Of course when they go to torture it always works too. I wonder if the show is portraying
the police culture or the COPS are copying the media culture.
