(70,127 posts)i havent been afraid for myself in this.
this little eden i sit on here has been bringing people to it in a way i can only describe as surreal. it's just safe here and i know it. i am used to the kids in the hood dragging their folks over to my gate to talk to my chickens. but any more, i hardly look out there and dont see them.
so i see they know it.
magic little ones, too.
but i saw that picture!!!
my first thought was- he's comin for you, hitler.
and everyone knows the power in calling things by their true names.
i know the line to piss on that fuckers grave will be long, but hell. i'm an old lady w not much else to do.
i will be in that line somehow.

(10,011 posts)He said no, its example of leadership. So true. I cant wait for November, though the protests weve seen to date by Trump supporters may only be a small part of what well see when he loses the election. Hes already setting them up to believe that the election will be rigged against him, and hell use tweets to encourage his gun-toting supporters to go on a rampage to overturn the election. I hope Democratic governors are planning for a huge level of violence by calling up the National Guard in advance and holding some training sessions about how to respond. With Barr in charge, the federal government will do nothing.

(6,918 posts)Wearing a mask the right thing to do, especially if it irritates your political opponent. He should show pictures of he and Dr. Jill doing things Trump is to fearful to do with their masks on.
Make Trumps reaction the topic of the conversationthats graduate-level brandingand troll away. Its free advertising for Biden, and the antidote to all the free coverage Trump gets.
Trump taking the bait every time is just so satisfying.

(6,918 posts)The most creative people in the worldAmerican movie and TV workershave been idle since March 13. And getting annoyed at being unemployed, so theyre turning their talents to helping Biden. Im hearing July 15th for production restarts.
Trump has slammed us for years so dont expect any mercy from creative types in the media.
They are so good, they can even rebrand malarkey.

(33,350 posts)He's the Grotesque Orange Pustule, to me, or Donnie Shitferbrains or any of a number of vulgar, disgust-laden nicknames seen on DU.
For Joe to refer to him as something diminutive and cartoonish has to rankle the mad narcissist.
