fall and spring for 8 months then 4 months of summer.
We haven't had winter for three years now. How is it where you live. It's 86 here in Ohio now.

But, very late arrival for first 80 something days.
And, we've had nearly 9" of rain so far this month.
Oh, and it snowed this month!
We've set the record for wettest May in history, 3 years in a row. And this it will be a huge increase.
Went from 8.21 to 8.25 from '18'&19. Now, were at 8.9" and there's still 6 days left!

(86,802 posts)we had four to six inches of wet slop on Saturday morning in the middle of thirty hours of rain that started Friday night. Today, sunny and 70ish. Supposed to be nice and getting really warm by next weekend. We did get a good soaking that was really needed and nothing died over the weekend in th garden so I put the rest of the seedlings and seeds in the ground today.
Now it's nurture everything while it grows.

(21,675 posts)Welp, no shopping for me this week.
I was late getting out to water things in the yard this morning. Thought I had killed our tomato plants, but they have recovered well.

(21,675 posts)with anything for the past few years, including tomatoes. My yard is just too hot in the summer. Finally decided to put in a water-saving front yard and I love it. It's on a drip system (10 minutes a day). I only have to do a one time yearly cleanup/add mulch and I'm good to go.
Good luck on your 'maters!
