They're jumping the ship big time now

including the state leaders.
Some have decided that reason and science trump the Con because you know human beings and pandemics really aren't about politics - it's about life.

The pandemic is bringing him down because this virus is not reality TV.

but yesterday the governor of North Dakota gave a fairly impassioned speech about masks not being a political statement, that they're about respect for others and saving lives. Today the Governor of Ohio did the same thing.

N Florida going gangbusters in N Florida and I’d assume S Georgia. Let’s watch the numbers 2-3 weeks from now and see if things begin to trend upwards for Covid19 and downward for donnie RUMP.

but I think that the economy will cause many, many more to flee the sinking ship. There's no way on Earth the economy is going to recover by November and that is the single biggest determinant factor of re-election. If the economy continues to slide downward, look for a challenge within the party.
