It's really bad how the ultra left of our party is also fighting against Biden along with the Republicans. Until Biden secures the nomination, he will have a 2 pronged war to deal with. I'm not implicating Bernie at all, but definitely people who were (are) staunch defenders of his are the ones that amplified the Tara Reade lies and now are amplifying this supposed Biden gaffe with this uber overreaction. In their small bubble of Twitter, they somehow feel if Biden can be brought down before June, then somehow Bernie will miraculously become the apparent nominee. This is the game folks. This is what Biden is up against, even though many of them aren't going to vote for Biden anyway. The convention can't come fast enough so we can all unite as a party.

(114 posts)If you don't vote Democrat, you ain't black!! If you don't vote, that's a vote for Donald Trump and the Republicans! People have just blown what he said all out of proportion!!
People need to stay focused and not be distracted by nonsense!

(6,148 posts)I still believe that if Biden can walk the gauntlet, he gets a landslide.
If everything is out in the open, and he's vetted, and is squeaky clean, then the fence-sitters will vote for him.
We need a landslide.
Every trick in the book will be played *AND* 30-40% of the US still approves of Trump.
I am one of those who did not like Biden's stupid comment. I don't think of myself as Ultra-left. I just don't want him to lose any votes, I don't want him to give anybody a reason to stay home or not vote for him.
Low-information/sound-bite-only voters are part of our reality. We can't afford to lose them. So yes, Joe needs to watch what he says.
