(7,522 posts)I think she has a much better chance of being chosen than Susan Rice.

(11,869 posts)She's a good choice I never thought of. I love watching her speak.

(13,426 posts)Demings would be an excellent choice, though. Talented, smart and powerful. She possesses a long list of terrific qualities.

(16,786 posts)But I would be happy with Stacey Abrams too.
Harris or Klobuchar for AG. Trump's as is grass with either of these 2.

(112,252 posts)Served in Congress and as governor. Brings in the Latinx demographic which is one of Biden's weak spots.

(21,675 posts)We Californians can afford to lose her as there is no shortage of good people waiting in the wings to replace her (Schiff?) My next choice would be Susan Rice.

(16,110 posts)but I'd love it to be Warren, but I'd rather see her in the senate at this point.
Klobuchar is a Tim Kaine type pick without the easygoing friendly demeanor.
Rice would ensure that Benghazi was part of EVERY news piece about the election.
Abrams would be great, but Harris edges her on experience.
Duckworth would be great too.

(7,621 posts)I already liked her but every time I see her on TV or hear someone speak about her, it just reinforces my opinion. Joy Reid interviewed Kamala on MSNBC last evening and while I don't remember the specifics, I remember Kamala expressing herself brilliantly.,
Also, on Stephanie Miller's show yesterday Malcolm Nance said that among women of color that have been mentioned as possible running mates for Joe (Kamala, Susan Rice, Stacey Abrams), Kamala would be the only one ready to go on Day 1. If Kamala's good enough for Malcolm, she's good enough for me.
