(8,580 posts)My workplace closed for COVID on March 25th and I am totally losing track of my days of the week. mr liberty is essential and still working, so I know when it's the weekend but I never know what day it is otherwise.
Editing to add that it is the 22nd at 5 pm that we go into Phase 2, which is Friday, which is tomorrow lol.

(4,241 posts)I imagine it's likely donor pressure. Always follow the money. Dems are just as open to donor influence as Pukes are. Get the fucking money out. All other problems stem from it.

(4,241 posts)Well, when you have folks who dig in their heels in business, we applaud them and then, they're replaced. It's awful, but understandable. Unless you compromise yourself A TON these days, you're going to have less influence, for whatever that's worth. It's always about chasing the damn donor dollars. Those that do that well are rewarded and those of us (me, too!) that like to dig in our heels and do the right thing are shoved aside. Get the money out and you'd be amazed how quickly people start to change. (I realize I make it sound easy and I'm sure everyone knows it, but this mantra needs to be so ingrained in our subconsciousness, we spout it like the Pledge.)
