The trump people spent the last 3 years spinning everything from caging kids to bribing foreign countries. Paying off pornstars to shitting on every democratic norm and institution we have.

And Its worked. He is still there. Still has his base.

I think mostly its cuz people just dont pay attention what goes on in DC. They have lives families hobbies entertainments distractions travels work.

All thats gone for now mostly. So now like the Eye of Sauron, every single persons focus is looking right at trump going 'whats up? we are waiting on you bud, lead us through this shit like a president is supposed to so we can go back to our lives and go back to ignoring you.'

And they are seeing a clown who is way out of his league. And they are seeing people getting sick and dying and trump not doing a damn thing about it. They are seeing him failing every step of the way.

And its not just all of us here and now its history. 50 years from now children in school are going to be reading about the epic failure that was trump. his surviving family members still bearing the shame of his negligence.

He finally met something he cant spin, bully, intimidate, distract from, lie about.....not when its dead people and when we are all 100% focused on him so we can have our lives back.

The weight of that is crushing him I bet. Seeing those internal poll numbers isnt helping. Thinking about a historic loss and what happens to him and his family legally afterwards? devastating

4. Let this be a lesson to all of us

As a Buddhist, I have decided to view Trump as a master class in ethical morality and self-discipline. That man fails every test of virtuous behavior, which according to Buddhist ethics means: No killing, no stealing, no lying, no sexual misconduct, no harsh speech, no divisive speech, no idle gossip, no envy, no ill-will, no wrong views. He fails everyone. Because of him, I see more clearly how important it is to guard the virtue of my own body, speech, and mind.

We will get beyond Trump, because nothing lasts forever. But the forces that created and enabled Trump will still be there. Fear, anger, greed, and ignorance will still be around. I just have to guard against myself contributing and cultivating those negatives. I know that there is a big big Dem tidal wave that is coming to sweep out the filth of our American corrupt swamp. Dem reforms will usher in a new American golden age, where we actually DO SOMETHING to protect out environment, address social injustice and inequality, rebuild some infrastructure.
