Earlier this week someone posted a thread and the posed the question on whether the US could ever end this divisiveness thats around today. People correctly pointed to Rush Limbaugh, Drudge, Breibert, FoxNews, Twitter, etc.... as the reasons for the polarization. But as I am watching this mornings Sunday morning news shows, I realize they are to blame, too. Yes, they arent biased as the aforementioned other media, but their problem is this that they try to hard not to be bias. They legitimize the right wings argument by playing the both sides thing, they dont do good follow up questions when they have a conservative guest on, and they dont call them out on their lies.

(7,017 posts)are not trying at all. They know the both sides is BS . They are afraid they won't be invited to the white house anymore and all the perks that go with it. So they are ok being the enemy of the people.

(182,829 posts)The standard excuse is that they need access to both sides so allowing both points of view is necessary. The real reason is that they need two horses in the race or no one will watch.

Division will not end cause everything is political, and many get brainwashed that THEY are on the right side.
