Another IG fired by Trump!

Trump’s hustle of firing Inspector Generals is the way Trump can put his own cronies in power to protect anyone & anything around him. The IG for Foreign Affaires was removed because he was doing his job and overseeing the workings of Pompeo and the State Dept.. But Trump uses the excuse that IG Linick wasn’t doing his job well and need to be removed! This is another Friday night news dump! Oh by the way! It is another lie of Trump’s slow dismantling of the Justice System! It a con job to protect himself from all investigations!

I feel presidents need to be granted power while in office. But Trump is bending all those rules at the highest level ever!

Update- IG Linick was not fired, Trump had the intentions to fire the IG. When I read the story, I had just woke up.

Trump has notified Congress of his intent to fire Linick.

The story it links to is incorrect, but this tweet at least shows the correct way to report this: "informed Congress of his intention to remove." Linick has NOT been fired. Trump has triggered the 30-day period required by law to give Congress a chance to prevent the firing.

This is EXACTLY what should happen. And they should include Linick, who has not been fired. As required by law, Trump has notified Congress of his INTENT to fire Linick in 30 days. The law exists to give Congress time to stop a firing. That means the hearing needs to happen SOON!
