we are both in the high risk category so we stay home. I think it has been like 60 days

but Def Leppard has a special meaning for hubby and myself. We see them everytime they come to town.

ZZ top is retiring....we wanted to see them one last time.

But-yes we have not contracted Corona so we are lucky.

guess I am just crying in my beer (indivisible beer since I can't stand the stuff)

Worst case, if ZZ Top is on their retirement tour, I'd bet they'd reschedule. Might even get them both coming back thru together if you're real lucky.

I'd like to see 'em again one last time myself. They put on a great show.

It's going to be a long year.

I heard that Live Nation has said they expect most, if not all, big shows through November to not go ahead.

Have seen some Great ones and also passed up some great ones. Now the only one we have schedule the last 1/2 of the year may not even happen.

It was a good show, I've liked them since the 70's.

That said, I'd hate for it to be the last concert I ever see. It was not THAT good.

I would have seen my Brother and his family while there.

Suwanee Rising was cancelled. Phil and Friends were the headliner. (Phil Leah of the Grateful Dead).

That is an annual event for me, where I would have seen some lifelong friends from Tallahassee, FL. I will miss them as we are all getting older.

So yes it's something to worry about. Or at least miss.

Is there something you miss that involves large crowds?

But I miss concerts. Someone else might miss Sports. Or Movies. Or the Symphony.

It has nothing to do with being "worried."

The concert has not been canceled, but it obviously is not going to happen anytime soon. I was so excited to get tickets. My husband and I were also going to England and Wales this September with a couple we have been friends with since our college days. We have been planning this for a couple years. That is off for sure. We have our high school reunion in Virginia in October, which I expect will be canceled. Whether we get a refund on our plane tickets (we live in Oregon) is unknown at this time.

We did get our cruise in last year to the Canadian maritime provinces. Unfortunately, we wound up having to take cover from Hurricane Dorian which hit Halifax, Nova Scotia the day after we had docked there, which caused us to miss several ports. At least we weren't stuck in our room on the cruise ship from the virus, and we did get pretty good at ping pong again.

Yeah, we decided, probably for the best to put that off for 2022. And next year, stay on this continent like were doing this year.
