I appreciate all of the senators and government officials that opened their homes to us today.

There are so many reasons to not do so, but I am grateful for all that did. I loved Sanders RHCP poster. Lamar Alexanders dog, and Elizabeth Warren's living room.

One of the things we've all had to accept during this time is that we have home lives with kids, pets, and things.

The one question I have is whether I need to buy a giant book case and fill it with books, so it looks good on video.

The gauntlet thrown down by Steve Schmidt and the John Heilemann fruit bowl sagas make me smile every day.

Just buy a roll of wall paper and tack it to the wall behind you or stick it to a door that you can use as a backdrop.

I have to do a teleconference with one of my doctors recently. Since my house is a mess (we're in the middle of construction) I turned my desk chair so I had the most impressive doors in the house behind me. I doubt the doctor noticed or cared, but after all the discussion online about people's houses, I felt better having him see that than the chaos in the rest of the room.
