(12,310 posts)the shutters and shut down operations when you know a hurricane is approaching? He cut funding for the CDC, dismantled the pandemic team, refused to accept tests offered to us, and on and on. What does it take to ever hold this guy accountable for anything.
There was a study done which concluded that 90 percent of the deaths could have been avoided. By today's count, that's more than 73,000 people.
And the opportunity didn't call him a murderer. That he is the cause of so many unnecessary deaths I have no doubt.

worldometers showing over 83000 coronavirus deaths (the vast majority of which i'd attribute to the federal govt's shit response)
ETA: is this specifically deaths directly attributable to Trump's actions and inactions? pretty tricky filter to derive, i'd think.
