How Is California 25 Looking

So, how is the election in the 25th district of California looking for Democrats? Does it look like Democrats have a chance of holding the seat?

1. I saw a few days ago that Republican mail-in ballots were leading

But there was still plenty to be counted?
There was a suggestion that the Democractic Vote Harvesting operation wasn't working due to the quarantine and perhaps the Democratic voters weren't sending their ballots back.

Republicans alway say democratic counters harvest our votes which is illegal. But they yell it anyway.

But likely it will flip back to Democrats in November. Yes, two elections in six months.

4. Friends living in that district ....

Tell me that they get the sinking feeling that Smith isn't going to pull this out, which makes them angry all over again that 'stupid' (That's what they called her) Katie Hill left the seat in the first place. I told them that even if Smith loses, the tRump-humper running vs Smith will only serve until the Fall. They shoot back that Dems already HAD that seat in hand, but that Hill resigned it like a chicken. One other friend said the virus is going to keep people home, and not voting, and that a few are Dems.

What could I say back to them? They actually live in that district and worked hard for Hill (One friend got out there and she worked for Hill, and she's disabled) only for her to 'do the right thing' by resigning because the GOP went after her, and so they think that she gave that seat back to who they call a right-winged, tRump-humping, self-hating, Latino fool.
