that it can infect livestock. Cats and bats and a few exotic animals on a small scale.
I'm sure there have been tests to make sure that cattle and pigs can't carry it.

But all of the animals except the pangolins and bats got the virus from people, didn't get very sick or spread it to each other, and apparently their viral load is too small to re-infect people.

The virus isn't spread by the animals and we don't have to worry about eating meat from the packing plants. The people who have to worry are the people who work in them.
