Happy Mothers' Day to all, whether physical, spiritual, whether your children have two legs

or four (or fur), however and wherever you mother, we honour you. For you who have lost loved ones, may you have peace and comfort.

And let us remember that the original day (not the hearts and flowers one) was an anti-war protest. (I can't copy the Proclamation, my computer is not working right).

If we call our pets "furbabies", does that make us "furmommies" and "furdaddies" ? Or would those names apply to animals that, um, own us as pets ?
