(21,596 posts)However, I only ate out once or twice a month at my local taco joint.
Touchless, automated drink and ice dispensers would be the best option.

(12,480 posts)Mine has both a widemouth and a bottle sized cap. I searched for a month for the right bottle. I have a handled top and bottom silicone bumper on it that glows in the dark.
Usually it's filled with red tea sweetened a touch, with stevia.

(21,596 posts)I am always on the lookout for the perfect water bottle. I work mostly outdoors, so its extra important to have the best beverage containers. At home and on the road trips, I use my Yeti tumbler for ice cold drinks. I have a Contigo coffee tumbler that is absolutely spill proof and keeps my coffee hot for hours.
I currently have a Tervis flip top water bottle with a handle top for work. However, It doesnt keep ice cold like a Yeti. My Yeti is too expensive to risk losing at work.

(25,554 posts)A scientist placed fluorocene dye in the water retention bottles which dentists use for the air water spray when they drill teeth. A procedure was completed, possibly a crown preparation, and the walls were exposed to proper wavelengths of light and the dye was literally everywhere. It covered the equipment, the walls, the floors, the light fixtures, the knobs on the doors, the handles on The cabinets, everywhere. Now you can take all the personal protective equipment, make it work 100% correctly, and the virus is still going to linger all over the room, all over the office. This of course would be true in an elevator or a lobby or a staircase or the produce counter in a supermarket.
Anyone who believes that they can venture forth into an environment where contaminated individuals have been present and not come upon the virus is fooling themselves.

(13,871 posts)I read an article from an infectious disease doctor of how to avoid food poisoning and viruses.
His number one rule: do not eat at buffets. He even pointed out that most foods in a salad buffet should be refrigerated instead of placed in bowls sitting in ice because the top of the food item quickly reaches room temperature.

(23,690 posts)Door handles, money (one of the most infected items). I keep a disinfectant foam in my car to use as soon as I get in when I'm coming from a store, or using an atm. Then wipe down my car door handle that I used to open the door.
I tend not to wipe down groceries. Things I know won't be used right away and are non perishable I leave in the garage for a couple of days.
