Why does Trump continue to be obsessed about Russia investigation?

He has effectively convinced those in his cult that it was all a "hoax". So why continue to beat a dead horse?

Because he knows thst the truth is still out there. After all the lies and propaganda to persuade his followers that he had absolutely no connections to Russia or Putin, he can't seem to bury it.

Even after the asswipe, Bill Barr, proclaimed it all over, it refuses to die.

Now, they want "his" Supreme Court to hide the truth from the Americsn people and declare that Donald Trump was a victim and no one needs to see the facts about his relationship with Russia.

I do remember that Individual 1 is still listed as unindicted, on at least one indictment from the Mueller investigation. The indictment is good past 1/20/2021. I'd have to get my Mueller book out to find the details.

but not without the whole operation still being exposed and he still hasn't gotten his sanctions lifted. And he's lost many of the same political allies that Trump lost (esp. Manafort). The jury is still out as to whether Trump and Barr can finish the job before next January (at the minimum) but, thankfully, it's proving harder for them than they probably thought.

plus he wants to get sanctions lifted for Putin and get Flynn, Stone, Manafort, and everybody else that got caught up in it off the hook (presumably so they can work for him again) without having to do it himself via a pardon, which he knows would look bad. Fortunately (for him) Barr is trying to figure out all of the *creative* legal ways he can to accomplish the same goals but in a way that doesn't make Trump have to stick his neck out in an election year. This may be harder for them than they think it is, even with all of the corrupt means at their disposal.

Remember there are Sanctions still in place and it Trump/Barr and friends can disprove all the Sanctions,then Putin has complete run into finical Markets as well as Technology Markets to up grade his antiquated Oil Industry. Russia is a Extraction Economy only.

There has never been a answer to the Billions of Rosnef Shares that were placed in a account some where in Greece or another Country as a result of a merger. And as we have known for several years,Putin holds Trumps Paper on tons of his so called Properties.

All about lifting those Sanctions and the GOP knows just how hot that will become if they play along. And Trump was made a promise most likely about a build out of a Black Sea Resort if he played nice.
