Got my hair cut this morning, which was good with careful restrictions.
Then I went to the local Lowe's store to get adhesive to fix my hiking boots. A nice young man helped me and suggested what he uses to fix his own boots. I thanked him and he said "hope you have a great day". I responded I would try with his help and with the fact that I just got my hair cut. He responded "and it looks great". Not used to that kind of compliments from the staff at Lowe's.
Sometimes it is the small things.

Sign on the door telling you to wait in your car until someone let you know to come in.
One client in each side at a time. There are two rooms
Everyone wears masks, they check your temperature at the door.
You wait between clients until they clean the chair and get clean equipment.
Each client gets a new drape.
My husband was before me and I had to wait just like it had been anyone else.
We felt just fine being there. We have been her clients since 1985 and we know how cautious she is. And she wants to keep her license.

(12,634 posts)If she could have just managed to do the actual cut from 6 feet away, I would ask for her phone # . No disrespect intended. We all get to make our own decisions in our society. At least so far.
