It seems important to be clear on crucial matters. Ambiguous statements are not professional.

I will assume, as most might, that "and maybe more." refers to more waves after the second wave. However, the possibility remains that "maybe more" is open to interpretation and might imply something else being prepared for.

"I am going to the store to by a few apples, and maybe more." Am I potentially going to buy more apples or other kinds of food as well?

until there's a vaccine. There will be increasing hot spots around the country, and when cold and flu season comes it's going to get even worse trying to distinguish between the three. Everyone is going to be scared and paranoid as hell of everyone else.
