(14,176 posts)Just burns my chaffs. I'm not going to pile on, seeing as there seems to be a history of complaints with the accuser. I don't think its very credible sounding, adding up all the circumstances.
Personally, I think it could be another GOP "Tweeden". Coming forward at just this time. Probably thinking it worked the first time...so...
I think the plan was not to take Biden out, but just to even the playing field, at least partially, in the arena of sexual assault or misbehaviour. So that Democrats will feel gagged to ever bring up Trump's sordid sexual abuse charges. It will clear that angle of criticism off the table.
I'll bet that in the alternative universe where Franken is investigated and cleared, he would be our nominee right now. What a waste.
