Washington, D.C.—Today, the church/state separation watchdog organization American Atheists denounced the Trump Administration’s plan to steer nearly $400 million in World Health Organization (WHO) contributions to private organizations, including Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse.

Bush started doing this a lot during his administration back then. I don't know that he did it with WHO funds, but he certainly started pouring loads and loads of money into Christian organizations directly using taxpayer money. I can't remember if it was something the Republicans slipped into the Patriot Act or some other legislation or an executive order, but I know a lot of that started during the Bush admin.

He started something back during his administration where he used taxpayers' money to give to Christian "charities." instead of what it was supposed to be used for. I remember it happening, but I don't remember how he got away with it. Does anyone else remember him doing that and remember how he got away with it? I know a lot of it went away during Obama's admin, but I see Trump has decided to just use ALL of our tax dollars to ignore the pandemic and funnel money to theocrats.
