It's like they go out of their way to make sure that these sorts of disasters develop or continue unabated -- and yes, poverty, pollution, and the rest are chronic, slow-moving disasters that harm and kill a great many people. The deaths are stsggrting, and yet the coronavirus is just another notch on the GOP's belt.
